A Note from Lisa:
I love working with children and teaching art. We seek to develop and strengthen creative skills, build self-esteem, build social skills, develop a sense of self, encourage expression and stimulate imagination. Artworks services children ages 18 months-teens. I have two girls ages 14 and 18. I have been married for 23 years. My husband, Stephen, works at Fort Sam Houston. He is an IT guy. He helps maintain the computers on the base. I have degrees in Philosophy, English and Business Management. I enjoy learning and teaching. I believe we are born Tabula Rasa (Latin: scraped tablet or clean slate) We are born to build on our slates. We gain our knowledge, spiritual awareness, experiences and sensory perceptions from our outside world. Art is hands-on and when we are creating we use all of our senses. Fill your tablet by doing art!
